Quebec Autoroute 20
Ontario Border to Riviere-du-Loup, QC
Quebec Autoroute 20 runs approximately 470 km from the Ontario border near Vaudreuil-Dorion along the south shore of the St. Lawrence through Montreal, Quebec City, and east to Riviere-du-Loup, where it meets the Trans-Canada continuing into New Brunswick. It is the south shore counterpart to Autoroute 40, preferred by many carriers for eastbound Maritime loads. Winter conditions are consistent Quebec highway challenges -- ice, blowing snow, and reduced visibility -- but the terrain is not extreme.
